About this Death Cafe
My hope is to break the taboo around discussing death. I want to provide a safe place in the community to engage in a conversation where we feel safe enough to share the questions most shirk away from. Bring curiousity, respect for differing viewpoints, openness, and a sense of humor. We laugh...a lot.
About Therese Morrissey
Therese Morrissey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a special interest in end of life. Her hospice experience and personal experience with loss have taught her the importance of talking about death and understanding how our mortality helps us to cherish our fellow humans and live each day.
