About this Death Cafe
We've been running Death Cafes since May 2023 because we need more safe spaces in which to have those challenging conversations which we may not be able to have with our closest family and friends.
About Ruth and Isabel
Ruth has been a funeral director at Divine Ceremony since June 2023 having previously worked as a funeral celebrant. She loves supporting families through the challenging times around death and loves a good conversation about death and dying!
Isabel has been a mortician since January 2022 and is passionate about how we look after people after they've died. She's an advocate for choice, is very death positive and lalso oves a good conversation about death and dying!
