About this Death Cafe

Huntly Death Cafe has been on the go for over a year now. We meet on the second Monday of each month.

We have had quite a bit of interest and now have a small core of regular attendees. Some have come and gone - that's absolutely fine!

The subject of death can be triggering for some people and it's definitely not for everyone. Specifically, it is NOT grief counselling. If anyone requires this service, we are happy to signpost you to where you can get support.

Every cafe is different and we 'go with the flow' in terms of what people want to discuss.

A recent cafe covered topics such as assisted dying and DNR notices.

Everyone is welcome to attend - we are respectful of the views of all and would ask attendees to be equally respectful.
