About this Death Cafe
Having attended and hosted many Death Cafes, I see how strong a taboo the subject of death is in our country. Bearing witness to the honest sharing people have in this comfortable setting brings deeper understanding of the reality we all face as human beings. Shared stories of issues attendees are dealing with related to death are welcome. It is truly an opportunity to grow in wisdom and courage in a safe and supportive environment
About Kathy Budreski
Kathy is a retired Hospice Nurse who has facilitated and co-facilitated Death Cafe's in various community settings for the past 5 years. Her interest in End of Life issues is derived from working with many families and patients as they journey through this often confusing and vulnerable time.
The Center for Spiritual Journey supports this program with the hopes of demystifying issues around death in a positive comfortable open atmosphere. All are welcome!
