About Anne Ohman

I Am Anne Ohman. I live on top of a mountain in beautiful Delaware County, NY.

Feeling the effects of our cultural death aversion, I sought to excavate the Sacredness, Connection and Reverence that our society’s typical path seems to have taken away from us in death and dying experiences.  I want to empower others if they, too, are seeking the same.

I became a Death Doula in 2022 in order to learn how to do just that. I am also a Funeral Celebrant and a Humanist Wedding Officiant.

I facilitate Death Cafes at very cool locations around Delaware + Otsego Counties in New York State to normalize talking about death because I feel that this is where we must begin.
