About this Death Cafe
Claire knows that talking about death can be difficult but understands that by feeling free and safe to talk can have huge benefits on a person's wellbeing. To be heard while sharing without judgement is crucial in exploring the hopes, fears, thoughts and feelings around death.
Donna, as a womb twin survivor, my twin died at 13 weeks gestation and my dad died a few weeks later. Thus, I was introduced to death before life and set a course for my own curiosity and passion that we need to feel safe enough to talk about it.
About Donna McDonald and Claire Moggach
Claire and Donna are both experienced counsellors and feel passionately about normalising the human experience of death and dying and creating safety in which to explore this.
Claire has been working as a counsellor since 2006 and is currently the Chief Executive of a third sector counselling organisation.
Donna runs her private practice in counselling as well as working for another counselling organisation. Her research and publications have been around the mental health of womb twin survivors.
