This Death Cafe will have a record-breaking number of participants - 350 people are expected to talk about mortality issues over lunch during a daylong symposium titled “A Beautiful Death: What will you choose?”
This Death Cafe is part of the 2015 Dean’s Health Symposium, presented by the College of Health and Social Services at New Mexico State University.
About Gail Rubin, CT
Certified Thanatologist Gail Rubin is one of the first to bring the Death Cafe concept to the United States. A death educator who uses humor and funny films to help start conversations about end-of-life issues, she is the author and host of the award-winning book and TV series, A Good Goodbye: Funeral Planning for Those Who Don't Plan to Die.
