About this Death Cafe
We believe that talking about death will teach us more about how to live than how to die.
Death Cafe was started in Anchorage Alaska by Kris and other Death Positive community leaders in 2017 - but was paused by COVID. We felt, compassionately, that the opportunity to bring people together in this non-biased space was important. We realized that there is so much we can do to promote a Death Positive environment for as many as possible . . . and that, we will do!
