About this Death Cafe

Since 2016, Nailsworth Death Cafe is a regular bi-monthly event in the Nailsworth calendar of community events. As always, we aim to keep the evening as informal and relaxed as possible, for people to share as little or as much as they feel comfortable with about their thoughts and experiences around death and dying. 

About Jane Diamond & Tracey Clements

Jane: I work locally in Stroud  where I own and run a modern, independent funeral company with a fresh approach to funerals. I also offer sessions on end-of-life planning. I am a member of End of Life Doula UK and actively support the role of doulas in the community to offer non-medical support to those at end-of-life. I love the idea of people being able to talk about end-of-life freely and openly – it’s coming to us all!  

Tracey: In 2001-2002 I trained as a bereavement counsellor. I have long been interested in our cultural responses to death and how we can ease the burden of grief for those who are bereft or dying. In June 2023 I was ordained as an Anglican minister with a focus on funeral ministry. I am married with two children.
