About this Death Cafe

Kinghorn library is hosting a Death Cafe at 7.30-9pm on Thursday 23rd November 2023. We will hold a space for people to talk and share their thoughts and feelings about death and dying, and perhaps to soften some of the taboos which might deter people from broaching the subject. We will sit together in a relaxed environment, with a cup of tea and a snack. If you are curious please come with an open mind and a willingness to listen to each others thoughts and ideas. There is no pressure to speak. A Death Cafe is different to a bereavement group so is not best suited for people who have been bereaved recently.
The facilitator has experience of hosting such meetings in church situations, and community groups.
