About this Death Cafe

We have partnered with one of our favorite local business, Leaves Book and Tea Shop, to provide an inclusive and  comfortable environment for anyone desiring an open discussion around death and dying. 

About Taylor and Lacy

Taylor and Lacy have been best friends since attending cosmetology school together in 2001. On road trips they would always stop for two things; a carnival or a cemetery. Taylor spent many years as a yoga instructor with a focus on reaching underserved populations and Lacy continued as a hairdresser eventually focused on education and training . In 2021 they both began End-of-Life Doula training at the same time unbeknownst to each other and decided to combine their knowledge and bring this heart work to their community of Fort Worth Texas through The Art of Dying. Both continue to work with local hospice.
