About this Death Cafe
Death is going to happen to all of us, why not talk about it?
And cake! Who doesn't want cake??
Join us the second Tuesday - bi-monthly beginning in December 2023 for skull cakes and death-related conversation - all are welcome!
About Leona Oceania
Leona is a passionate and outspoken advocate of the 'Death Positive' movement, as well as alternative funeral and burial options. (There are so many choices!) In addition to faciliating the Scarborough Death Cafe, she is a Death Educator, Home Funeral Guide, End of Life Doula, Life Legacy Facilitator, Hospice Volunteer, and board member of the Funeral Consumers Alliance of Maine.
She also loves reading, writing, and naps.
