About this Death Cafe
The Death Café, running monthly since March 2013, is a very informal gathering with the emphasis on sharing stories, experiences and fears about death and dying.
A list of topic questions are given but most often the conversation flows naturally.
About Ava Reyerson
Ava is a Counsellor and Behavioural Scientist who specialises in facilitating conversations about death, dying, life and living.
Along with the Death Café, she also facilitates her workshop called 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Death' where she takes participants on a journey to death and back, leaving them inspired to live now, love now, and always be prepared to let go.
Ava has experienced the deaths of many loved ones over her lifetime. Her motto is 'begin with the end in mind'...and she indeed lives each day with her end in mind, whenever that day will come.
