About this Death Cafe
A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session. At a Death Cafe people drink tea, eat cake and discuss death. Our aim is to increase awareness of death to help people make the most of their (finite) lives.
About ACE Colleges Murwillumbah
This workshop is delivered by Talitha Mitchell, an experienced End of Life Doula or Deathwalker. Her goal is to support individuals, couples and families of all cultures, beliefs and identities in a holistic space through end-of-life transitions and beyond. Navigating end of life may be somewhat overwhelming, so having the support of an End Of Life Doula can bridge the gaps between medical staff, family, caregivers & other providers, to create meaningful, peaceful, personal and empowered end of life transitions. She provides support, advocacy, information, education & continuity, with calm compassionate presence.
