This Cafe is being hosted in a public park. Exact location will be sent to all attendees who RSVP.
For your comfort please bring:
- a chair or pillow to sit on
- your beverage of choice
- a sweater/blanket/sunhat or other items to be comfortable in the outdoors
About Monica & Maux
Maux is a death doula and facilitator interested in holding space for people to talk about their grief and other mortal experiences.
Monica believes it is important to talk about death (and everything surrounding it) and has found that as she speaks about it to people in her life in an easy manner people around her are becoming more comfortable with the topic and are even thinking of attending the Death Cafes she is holding.
Monica and Maux are graduates of Douglas College's End of Life Doula course and want to help in the movement of removing the stigma of talking about death. To have real converstaions that matter.
