About this Death Cafe
The event basically looks like this:
1. You turn up at the venue for 7pm
2. You have a coffee and a slice of cake if you want.
3. You get to meet the other people attending that evening.
4. You get to talk in a safe, cosy, relaxed environment about mortality, life, death... what ever floats your boat or interests you.
5. You leave... knowing you probably just made a few friends!!
About Sue and Naomi
Liz will be facilitating this fourth Thirsk Death Cafe event. Looking forward to it. Liz has lived in Thirsk for a long time and has retired from full time work. But still very busy with committments. Her last paid job was to head up a hospice service in the local area. She has lots of experience with families dealing with death and dying. She was at times, present for the vigil/actual time of death. What a gift that she is happy to come and be part of the group. Many thanks!!
