About this Death Cafe
Join us for an afternoon of all things death and dying! Bring yourself, your curiosity, and an open mind. Interesting conversations are guaranteed! Cookies, light snacks, and beverages will be provided.
Doors open at 1pm. Please arrive early as we will be starting promptly at 1:30. Arriving late can be disruptive to the conversation. We will be spreading out into small groups, please bring a lawn chair if you have one.
What to expect: We will break out into small groups and begin with introductions and icebreakers to get the conversation going, followed by open and respectful discussion. The evening will conclude with a “show-and-tell” where people can bring and share death related books, art, oddities, etc. with the group.
Please note this is NOT a grief support group, just a space for like-minded people to promote positive death discussion.

Sunset Crossings is a local death doula agency providing non-medical, holistic care to the dying and their loved ones. We advocate for a "good death" and provide safe spaces to have those difficult conversations.
