About this Death Cafe
Chris, Berni and Francoise believe that anyone anywhere can benefit from participating in a Death Cafe. They launched the first Llandovery Death Cafe in November 2022. They had more in February and April this year, and participants appreciated. They have no agenda, welcome everyone who wish to speak - or just listen - about death in an open and respectful way.
The Bear Inn has (again) kindly offered the use of their back room.
About Chris, Berni and Francoise
Chris is a yoga and meditation teacher from Mandala Yoga Ashram, near Llansadwrn, and is also a trained counsellor and trainee End-of-Life doula.
Berni, from Llanwrtyd Wells, is an End-of-Life Doula and Independent Celebrant, & known for her Stained-Glass Window at Myddfai Hall.
Francoise has taken part in Death Cafes since 2018 and has completed the End-of-Life Doula Foundation Course in 2019. She enjoys being alive.
