About this Death Cafe

Have you ever felt alone with thoughts around death and wanted to explore this topic with open-minded people?

Mourning Projects and the Hearth are running a Death Café, which is a group directed discussion where people can talk about death, find meaning, ask questions and reflect on what’s important. We will welcome you to the space with cake, tea, warmth, and curiosity.

All genders welcome. LGBTQI+ safe space.

Doors will open at 6:30pm. The Death Cafe will start at 7:00pm.

About Mourning Projects

Mourning Projects aims to create a space where you can acknowledge life, what you have lost, and everything in-between. Death and grief often remain overlooked, shrouded in uncertainty and fear. The reality is that death makes life whole.

Rebecca is a Death Doula.

Cassandra is a trainee psychotherapist who has previously managed a funeral home, worked in memorials at a crematorium and currently works in suicide prevention.
