About this Death Cafe

Alison and Teresa are both Hospice Volunteers and are eager to expand the places where death is talked about in the community.

This will be a consciously curated container to openly discuss death, acknowledge our experience with it, and create fluid language and community around it.

Steamboat's Death Cafe will be held at the Dusky Grouse Coffee shop. We are grateful for their support and enthusiasm for community engagement.

About Teresa Miller & Alison Zimmerman

Teresa is a fierce lover of life who calls awe her greatest teacher. She is a teacher, facilitator and trained End of Life Doula. Teresa seeks to elevate life by intentionally meeting threshholds with an open heart.

Alison is a lifelong artist whose expertise is in curating custom experiences. She is a facilitator and event coordinator. Alison infuses spaces with healing and invites self expression and expansive connection.
