About this Death Cafe
We all need a little surge of energy in the afternoon and we all...die. So, why not combine the two and engage in meaningful, useful, and empowering conversations that help to demystify and combat the taboo surrounding death, dying, and end-of-life.
Our objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'.
Come as you are! This is a public space so we cannot guarantee spots/chairs so come early and find us!

Hayl Bergeland of GLADYS, llc is a Gerontologist, end-of-life doula, and grief support specialist. GLADYS offers aging in-place services, end-of-life support and death doula services, care planning and well-being consultations, and grief counseling.
