About this Death Cafe
Louis Joel Arts & Community (LJAC) presents the Death Cafe in Melbourne's West. Our purpose is to provide an inclusive environment for community members to gather, lead and participate in programs and workshops that improve wellbeing.
LJAC is a not-for-profit neighbourhood house and gallery, where most of the programming is based on creativity and environmental sustainability. It is considered an ideal venue for the Death Cafe in Melbourne's West.
About Karen Ingram
Karen Ingram is an experienced facilitator and community development practitioner. She is the manager of Louis Joel Arts & Community, located in Melbourne's bayside in the west. Karen is passionate about providing a supported environment where people can gather to discuss death, and to improve death literacy in the community.
