About this Death Cafe
Death is the one experience that every human has in common, yet it is a subject that many do not like to talk about. Join Death Café facilitator Dr. Kate Clary, assistant professor of Interdisciplinary Studies at Coastal Carolina University, for an open discussion about death and life. A Death Café is a growing, international, movement in which people gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss topics related to death with the goal of demystifying death and celebrating life. They share stories, ask questions, and discuss their thoughts and feelings. It is a group directed discussion with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is not a grief support or counselling group.
