About this Death Cafe

This is a repeating event with the kind support of The Ideas Hub.

Once a month on the last Friday lunchtime

I Love to facilitate the Death Cafe, because I believe in the benefits of talking with others; especially about the stuff we find less easy and I want to provide opportunities for people to talk and challenge stigma and preconceptions, normalise openness around death, dying and bereavement.

This is a relaxed, friendly session, in a supportive environment.

About Jane Iskander

I came to Death Cafe through my experiences in my life of Death & Dying, in my personal life and through my work as an Occupational Therapist & Coach, working with people experiencing life changing & life limiting diagnosis.

I feel we tend to avoid speaking about death & dying, which is not helpful, to the dying, living, bereaved or any of us, so I began initiating these conversations through Death Cafes. 

Ive enjoyed facilitating Death Cafes for many years now & each one iis different!
