About this Death Cafe

This is a repeating event with the kind support of The Ideas Hub.

Once a month on the last Friday lunchtime

I Love to facilitate the Death Cafe, because I believe in the benefits of talking with others; especially about the stuff we find less easy and I want to provide opportunities for people to talk and challenge stigma and preconceptions, normalise openness around death, dying and bereavement.

This is a relaxed, friendly session, in a supportive environment.

About Jo Morrison

I started to go to Death Cafes around 10-15 years ago and found them liberating and fascinating. I want to be part of our last adventure on earth and  thinking/talking/planning things around the thing that unites all life, helps me to do that. I've also completed a death doula foundation course  through Live Well Die Well (LWDW) and hope to become a small part of Farleighs Hospice spiritual care team soon. Everytime I attend a Death Cafe, I'm struck by how nourishing the conversation is and how life affirming it can be.
