About this Death Cafe
What you can expect at Memento Mori ~ Virtual Death Café:
1. We gather VIRTUALLY via ZOOM with open hearts & minds and respect for all.
2. We meet & greet for the first 15 minutes.
3. We gather with curiosity in a confidential and relaxed environment. Our discussion group is designed to be a safe place to listen, talk and share thoughts, feelings, ideas and experiences around death and dying.
4. Fifteen minutes before meeting end time we wrap up discussions with an opportunity to share final thoughts and express gratitude.
6. We recognize this is not professional therapy or grief counseling, and have no intention to lead anyone to any particular conclusion, product, or course of action.
About Shawntele Louise
Shawntele is a compassionate death doula inspired by synchronicities and treasures the everyday moments of her soul-led journey.
She has a natural curiosity and openness that allows her to connect with people while holding space for conversations on grief, dying and all the messy bits called life.
While volunteering as a grief companion and a support person for the No One Dies Alone program, she strives to bring normalcy and acceptance to the waves of emotions that we all experience at some point.
Fully appreciating that there isn’t a ‘right way’, there is just ‘the way that is right for you’, she encourages people to come together with loving kindness to create safe, healing communities for all.
