This event is dedicated to honest and open conversations about death, whether on the basis of our experiences, thoughts and beliefs, or the need to relinquish grief and fears about death. Death Cafes, however, are not a place for argumentation and ideological confrontations, nor are they a formal therapeutic encounter. Death Cafes, rather, operate on the basis of a community's natural power to provide empathy and validation to one another, and by this process, facilitate relief and grieving around the essential topic of death.
