About this Death Cafe
I am running this coming Death Cafe as I have been receiving requests to run it again: sometimes I'm unsure whether it's the great chai and cake provided or the topic itself!
This will be run in accordance with Death Cafe guidelines so there are a few conditions: not for the recently bereaved and not intended for anyone to sell or promote any goods or services- this is a safe space to speak about anything that comes up for you around Death and dying...
About Melissa Halliday
Melissa has hosted over 8 Death Cafes over the past 5 or 6 years and this is the first post pandemic. She has been everything from an estate planning lawyer to a funeral celebrant and director, singer and yoga teacher and like all of us interested in end of life, being human, curious about our mortality, enthusiastic about hosting and keen to create a safe, inclusive space are really the only prerequisites needed to hosting a Death Cafe.
