About this Death Cafe

Death Café for the Living at Vancouver Unitarians will continue on the first Friday of each month through December. Our next offering is Friday, October 7th , 7-9pm. We will have tables and conversation groups set up in Fireside and the Hall for groups of 4 to 6 folks of differing beliefs, theologies, backgrounds and ages to come talk about one thing we all have in common--mortality!

This Death Café is sponsored by the Unitarian Church of Vancouver, as a religion without creed or dogma we encourage each other in our spiritual search for truth and meaning. We affirm the inherent worth and dignity of all people and the interdependent web of all existence. We are aligned with the Death Café principles of open, honest, and respectful conversations that value our differing perspectives. The only thing not allowed is disrespecting or disparaging others. 

About Luke Moore

Facilitator Luke Moore is a young father and partner curious to have deep conversation across generations of wisdom.

Host Kiersten Moore (no relation) is a mother of three, and though part of the ministry team at Vancouver Unitarians, she looks forward to listening much more than talking at this event.
