About this Death Cafe
You are warmly invited to come and discuss the topics of death and dying in a welcoming and informal setting.
We will have a short round of introductions and then, as a group, we will share whatever is in our hearts and minds about death and dying. This is a discussion group rather than a support or counselling group. There is no agenda, but there will be plenty of tea and cake :)
Places are limited to 8 people to ensure an open, easy and comfortable setting. Booking in advance is required.
The event is free, but donations towards running costs are welcome.
About Selena King
Following the death of her mother on Christmas Day in 2018, Selena became very interested in what it means to have a good death and why that’s so important. She believes that by building a relationship with our own mortality, at any stage in our life, allows us to live a more examined and fulfilled life. As well as being an experienced facilitator and end-of-life midwife, Selena runs death awareness workshops and works with people to tell and share their life story in a way that brings meaning and completion to their life.
