Anyone is welcome. It is for ages 18 and over, families, friends and co-workers.
Bring an open mind, an open heart and your curiosity.

There is no charge and donations are accepted to defray costs of refreshments.
About Karen Van Dyke and Anne Barber
Karen Van Dyke, CSA, a long-time San Diego resident and Certified Senior Advisor, hosted the first Death Café in San Diego in 2013 and has encourage the San Diego community to hold and attend death cafés ever since.
Anne Barber, LCSW, is a social worker who provides services in private practice with a focus on bereavement, trauma survivors and neurodivergence. She has been a part of the Death Café San Diego community since 2016.
