We are running a Death Cafe in Huddersfield.
This will be a free flowing discussion group, very lightly facilitated, which will take place downstairs in Coffee Evolution.
If you would like to come along and join in the conversation, you will be made most welcome.

I run a little venture called Over the Rainbow Holistic & Wellbeing Workshops and one of my passions in life is to bring people together to connect ~ share ~ grow.
I'm not very comfortable with the idea of death but very much believe that by talking about the difficult subject, can only help us all become more comfortable with the uncomfortableness of it all.
This is why I am hosting a Death Cafe to help get the conversation started and see where it leads.

I have many hats, as a freelance researcher and trainer, community activist and manager in adult social care... But my interest in talking about death is personal and began when my mother died when I was still in my teens. I found very few people wanted me to talk about it... 30 years on, I am joining Susan Dewhurst from Over the Rainbow to run Huddersfield's second Death Cafe because I think talking about death is still taboo, and I'd like to be part of changing that.
