About this Death Cafe
Let us come together at this Death Cafe, a gathering that has been organized all over the world where we share our reflections on death and dying in an open, non-judgmental way over cake, snacks, and refreshments. The intention of a Death Cafe is for people to come together to increase awareness of death in order to help us make the most of our (finite) lives. It is a group directed discussion of death (not a grief support or counseling session) with no agenda, objectives or themes.
This will be an informal gathering in beautiful Central Park, so bring a blanket, lawn chair, or whatever you'd like to sit on, any snacks or non-alcoholic drinks you'd like to share, and an open heart/mind!
Space is limited to keep the group more intimate, so please RSVP at bit.ly/deathcafeuws.
