About this Death Cafe

We both believe strongly that it's time to talk,share ideas and experiences about life and death issues.

We run a friendly supportive group,and like to listen as well as discuss.

its time to help ease the isolation,fears and lonliness that is often experienced in our death fearful societies,and recognise that death is a natural part of life.

Its always interesting, sometimes poignant sometimes light hearted as we recognise the contradictions and complexities of being human! 

Our online meetings have attracted people from all over the globe and we learn so much from each other, so bring a cup of tea/ coffee,a friend, yourself and say hello! 

About Mary and Siân

Mary has been involved in end of life care,both as a full time carer and professionally working with elderly,as well as young adults and children.

Siân is a celebrant and ex nurse.
