About this Death Cafe
This group is meant to foster informal and relaxed monthly discussions around death without any agenda. While not a grief support group, it is open to anyone interested in deepening their understanding and acceptance of matters related to death and dying. This is not a forum to sell goods or services.
About Priscilla Schaefer / Rick Barney
This death cafe is co-facilitated by 2 Volunteer Hospice volunteers, Priscilla and Rick. Priscilla is trained as a doula and offer her service to Volunteer Hospice patients. Rick joined VHOCC recently and is interested in all things end of life.
Death is a normal part of life, and the facilitators are committed to explore that place of end of life, death, and dying by having conversations with curious participants.
