About this Death Cafe
This IN-PERSON, LIVE Death Cafe is held the Fourth Saturday of every month. Any schedule changes will be communicated through the Death Cafe website and our website at yumadeathcafe.com
We are meeting in the Large Meeting Room, at the Yuma Foothills Library.
Beverages provided. Due to COVID, food not provided at this time.
We accept and appreciate donations to help cover our costs.
We honor and align with the Death Cafe philosophy that death is a vital and healthy topic of discussion, ably enriched with open, respectful discussion and shared experience.
About Deb Bershad & Joy Lovejoy
Joy Lovejoy is a chaplain at a local Yuma hospital and is an Interfaith Minister. She has worked at Yuma mortuaries, and is a certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist.
Deb Bershad is a Registered Nurse whose healthcare career has spanned 45 years. She last worked as a hospice nurse in the San Francisco Bay area.
She currently serves as an End of Life Doula in Yuma,AZ
