About this Death Cafe
We try to run a Death Cafe around this time of year when the seasons change and our minds turn inwards. We will begin with participants sharing why they have come, break to get refreshments and then continue with freeform conversation in small groups. We may use optional conversation cards as a starting point for group discussions but will try to keep any facilitation or structure to a minimum.
This year, more than ever, it seems right to hold an in-person cafe where people can gather and share experiences and thoughts as we work to end the taboo around the subject of death and end of life matters.
