About this Death Cafe

My office just opened this week, and as I am a relatively new Tasmanian I want to engage as quickly as possible with my local community members by opening up a space for death-related conversations.

I am a big fan of informed choice - Death Cafes are a terrific vehicle for death literacy that can help people begin to understand the experiences of death and grief, know that they are not alone in being death curious, and that we have many options and choices at end of life.

Plus, you get to meet new people!

N.B.:Gentle Death Education and Planning provide a venue for the Death Cafe but are not open for business or business enquiries during the Death Cafe.

About Dr Annetta Mallon

Annetta is an end of life consultant, educator, researcher and grief psychotherapist specialising in complex and traumatic grief. She works with humans and pets and has a spectrum of services from pre-need planning to end of life and after-death including death doula, cold plate rental, legacy and memorial projects and more.
