About this Death Cafe
I am involved in the Death Cafe, because I believe there are great benefits in talking with others; especially about the stuff we find less easy and I want to provide opportunities for people to talk and challenge stigma and preconceptions, normalise openness around death, dying and bereavement.
A Death Cafe is simply a place to discuss thoughts and feelings around life, death and what comes in between in a safe supportive way.
A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.
