About this Death Cafe
The month of August encompasses Dying to Know Day, a national campaign which aims to encourage discussions around death, dying and bereavement. Through meaningful conversations, one can build a greater understanding of death enabling the fear associated with the topic to diminish.
Discussion over a light lunch.
About Rhonda Smedley
The facilitator, Rhonda Smedley leads up a team of passionate women (The Ageing Well Team) who have for over three years offered a space of time to consider the topic of death, dying and bereavement. Over an intimate table of four, total strangers meet and leave as friends, having felt free to talk about any concerns or issues that impact us all.
