About this Death Cafe
I have spoken to so many people about Death, and what a good Death looks like. In these conversations I have found that there is a need to have this sort of open accepting conversation when there is time to process your thoughts and values. I learn something in every conversation as well. I truly believe that contemplating Death helps us to Live more fully.
About Kate Raatz
Kate has been an RN practicing bedside care for 33 years, with many experiences with Death. She is certified in Holistic Nursing, and intends to be a Nurse Death Doula when she retires from her Nursing practice.
Celina McKenzie owns the venue, and is a Massage Therapist with several certifications.
