About this Death Cafe
Meika will be hosting our next Death Cafe held via Zoom on Tuesday, May 11th. We are still start at 7pm and ending at 8:30pm. At Virtual Death Cafes people drink tea, eat sweets ( in their homes) and discuss death. Our aim is to increase awareness of death to help people make the most of their finite lives. We are not a support group -This is free and open to the public.
To attend email us at DeathCafeAlbany@gmail.com and we will send you the Zoom link. We will start promptly at 7pm on Tuesday May 11th - So please log in a bit early.
After everyone is on the Zoom call, we break into smaller groups of 4-6 people with an experienced co-host in each Breakout Room .We share on whatever topics the attendees decide and we stay in small groups for the majority of the time. We rejoin for the last 15 minutes and each group tells a few highlights of their discussion. The entire event will end at 8:30pm.
About Meika
Meika has been a co-host for over a year and a half at our events. She has taught a Death, Dying and Grieving class and had her students attend ta Deat Cafe and then hsot their own Death Cafe . So she is a very capable host!
