About Anne Reid, Sue Phillips
Anne Reid is a retired RN and spent the majority of her career working in Mental Health. Prior to retirement Ann felt something was missing in her career and she felt drawn to working with the dying. Having had several family die and being part of that experience showed her the beauty and blessing of being part of that journey. Anne took courses through the Institute of Traditional Medicine and Douglas college and is now getting ready to start her practice.
Sue Phillips is a practicing End of LIfe Doula in the Hamilton-Wentworth area. After retiring from a 30 year adminstrative assistant position she realized a desire to be of service to people at end of life. Sue obtained a certificate as an End of Life Doula from Douglas College & is currently pursuing ongoing education in Thanatology, palliative care, hospice care and more. Her goal is to normalize conversation around death & dying in order to help people feel less fearful.
