About Robin “Cat” Kent
An ardent advocate for compassionate end-of-life care, Robin "Cat" Kent is a hospice worker and a professional death midwife. She is also a Reiki master practitioner and teacher.
Committed to service, Robin worked in education for over thirty years as a teacher, counselor, and administrator. She holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from California Lutheran University. She has spoken on student advocacy issues nationally and internationally.
Robin and her husband Jeff reside in the historic district of her beloved hometown, where she hosts Death Café, Five Wishes workshops, and other free end-of-life related events. She and Jeff are the humble servants of their numerous senior and special-needs rescues, including Blue the three-legged Siamese and Jake from State Farm, a fifteen year-old retriever
