About this Death Cafe
- Bring your cup of tea/coffee/beverage of choice and a slice of cake/pie/snack of choice in keeping with the Death Cafe tradition.
- No charge to attend.
- Zoom link will be be shared with attendees, so rsvp is necessary.
- Death Cafés have been waitlisted in the past so early sign-up is recommended.
- Due to the structure of the program, late arrivals will not be granted entry to the zoom session.
About Anne Barber & Karen Van Dyke
Karen Van Dyke, CSA, a long-time San Diego resident and Certified Senior Advisor, hosted the first Death Café in San Diego in 2013 and has encourage the San Diego community to hold and attend death cafés ever since.
Anne Barber, LCSW, is a social worker who provide services to a variety of groups including hospice, incarcerated people and trauma survivors. She has helped coordinate efforts within the Death Café San Diego community since 2016.
