About this Death Cafe

Death seems to me a part of life, and yet it is such a taboo and often difficult to talk about. I have been interested in the Death Cafe movement for a while, and been supported in this journey by so many lovely people. I think for me, seeing how difficult it can be for someone in death or following the death of a loved one, makes it so much clearer how important it is for us to talk about how we want to die, and how we want to live life now.

Continuing as we have been with our Liverpool Death Cafes, this event will be held online using Zoom. You will need a working webcam and microphone to take part. If you are using a Smart Phone or tablet, you will need to download the Zoom app. If you are using a PC, you do not need the software installed.

Please email for joining instructions, either by using the contact form below and giving your name or directly to jamie@jamiefearn.co.uk

This event is free and you will need to bring your own tea and cake!

I've created a Facebook event that you can access under the map to the right of this, but you do not need Facebook to take part, this is just for additional information/communication which will also be provided by email.

About Jamie Fearn

With experience in the past of volunteering as a Samaritan, and current experience volunteering in a bereavement service, it feels important to me to be part of opening up the conversation about death.

In addition to this I have a number of years’ experience working in education and facilitating training, and now work in private practice as a counsellor. I am an accredited Non-Religious Pastoral Carer and volunteer within the Chaplaincy team at Mersey Care.
