I think it's important for humans to make peace with the fact that their lives are finite. For me, and many others, is fosters inner peace and expands the capacity to live life to its fullest, with joy and gratitude.

Colleen Harris is a retired English teacher living in South Florida. She is a Hospice volunteer, is certifying to become an End-of-Life Doula, practices and teaches Shamanic Reiki, and writes a Blog  - sometimes about death.
