About this Death Cafe
I'm a political professional in my early 30s, originally from NYC but have been living and working in DC for the last 6 years. I've dealt with death, abuse, and trauma from a young age, and am always looking to find ways to engender a culture of openness around the topics we've been told are best not discussed - especailly in this town! I was inspired to host after attending a couple cafes hosted by a friend online over the last few months. Hoping to help build the Death Cafe community here, but the event will be held over Zoom and all are welcome to attend. Hope to see you there
