About this Death Cafe

Because this event will be online, it will be slightly different than an in-person gathering, but that doesn't mean it won't be just as lovely!

First things first, the intention is for us to create a café-like atmosphere. Because I cannot bring my famous chocolate-chip banana bread muffins this time around, you'll have to take care of this part yourself! To keep the energy casual and comfortable, you are encouraged to join in with a favourite beverage (fruit infused water, coffee, tea, etc.) and a snack if you would like!

Another thing to note is time zones. The Death Café begins at 11am Central Daylight Time, which means it will begin at 12pm Eastern, 9am Pacific, and 5pm GMT.

We will be gathering for 90 minutes of open, honest discussion about the topics of death and dying. A reminder that a Death Café is not a bereavement group - should you require resources for the grieving journey, those can be provided to you.

Michelle is not accepting donations for facilitating, but encourages anyone who feels so inclined to please support Palliative Manitoba!

Palliative Manitoba provides programs, services, education and information to ease the inevitable stress during life’s final journey. To support these efforts, please use the following link with our gratitude:
