About this Death Cafe
Phoebe and others meet to chat about Death, look at the myths, go where many have never dared to look...their own thoughts, questions and fears about death. All over a cuppa with much laughter, empathy and community.
Anybody is welcome to attend, please know that this is not a grief and loss support group but a group of empathic locals who like to ask questions, dig deeper and share.
If you are experiencing overwhelming grief please contact LIFELINE on 131114
About Phoebe Crane
Phoebe has worked for several years as a pastoral care worker, volunteered in aged care facilities and spend most of her time in a palliative care environment.
Having worked with many who were either dying or the friends and relatives of those who were dying, something became very obvious. Death is only ever spoken about when it is imminent, when it is often too late to make plans for special wishes, bucket lists, emotional wills and so on.
Phoebe wants to change that and now meets on a monthly basis here in Port Macquarie
